​Christian Nourijanian is a pianist/keyboardist/music educator based in New York City. He has worked with several artists in an array of styles, his background of jazz, in combination with his love of pop music gives him the versatility of a skilled musician who understands many idiomatic zones to cross genres. This stylistic versatility, along with his musicianship, and collaborative ability has helped him become a highly sought session musician.

Every second of being on stage is sacred and one of the most incredible sensations a performer can possess. Christian continuously has the opportunity to share it playing with some of the most talented artists, upcoming and established. He has performed at The Apollo Theater, Irving Plaza, Paradise Rock Club, Soho Beach House Miami, DC 9, Le Poisson Rouge, Rockwood, Brooklyn Bowl, SOBs, Webster Hall, Joe's Pub, World Cafe Live, TLA Philly, Blue Note Jazz Club, The Norva, & Bowery Ballroom.

Christian was classically trained at the age of 8, found his love for jazz and pop music during his early teens listening to Miles Davis, Bill Evans, Stevie Wonder and Billy Joel.  He attended the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, earning a B.F.A. in Jazz studies in 2010. He attended Manhattan School of Music graduating in 2012 with a master of music degree and Teacher's College, Columbia University graduating in 2013 with a master of  music education degree with NYS K-12 certification.

On top of his busy schedule of performing, writing and private teaching, Christian is focused on further developing his craft everyday to achieve his own musical and personal goals. This includes touring/performing locally with upcoming & established artists, expanding his private teaching studio and songwriting.
