Studio + Recording

Christian has had the opportunity to record on over 35 records and other studio work. Mostly as a pianist, keyboard player, and sometimes as a co-producer. On top of being a regular session player at a few studios, Christian frequently records remotely from his studio in New York. He uses an array of instruments, a mixture of Digital and Vintage, to get the sounds people want and need for their records.

“Christian is always the first name I think of whenever someone asks me if I have any piano player recommendations for session work, teaching, or jazz. I’m thankful to have performed and recorded with him on tons of projects. I know that his reliability, ability to learn music quickly, and his high standards for playing are some of the reasons (among many) why he’s the first call to many in need of a pro pianist.”

— Greg Mark (Gregory Mark Management, guitarist)

“Christian is an absolute dream to work with. Both as a live performer and studio musician, he brings not an incredibly high level of musicality and versatility, but also a level of professionalism and passion that are inspiring to make music with.”

— Carey Clayton (music producer, guitarist for Great Good Fine Ok)

“It’s been awesome working with Christian on so many gigs in NYC! One of the baddest dudes I know who’s not only a super creative as a soloist, but also an extremely supportive band member who’s well versed in every style.”

— Andrew Gould (saxophone player, composer)

“Christian is not only a fantastic keys player with killer skills and taste, but he is a joy to have on the session. He always brings a great energy to the studio and helps us get to the finish line in high spirits.”

— Lane Banning (owner of Moon Recording Studio)
